3D Dermaforce advanced Microneedling/RF is an advanced method of skin rejuvenation that stimulates the body’s natural healing process to encourage collagen production of the dermis resulting in anti-ageing and skin tightening, however it can also be used to treat concerns such as hooded eyelids, and to improve skin laxity above the knees. During treatment, the radio frequency energy is delivered through a 1cm2 tip with 36 fine, gold-plated needles (only 0.12mm for comfort). By using the insulated needles on 3D Dermaforce, it allows us to target both the deep dermis and epidermal layers of the skin because the energy is emitted throughout the entire surface area.
The radio-frequency wave penetrates the basal melanocyte barrier, heating the collagen fibres in the dermis to 55°C-65°C. This stimulates the body’s natural healing process and cell turnover increases as the body heals, resulting in the production of collagen and elastin in these areas.
Treatment times typically range from 20-60 minutes depending on the size of the area.
How many treatment sessions are recommended?
Although results can be seen following a one-off treatment, a course of three treatments is typically recommended for optimal results.
